Method: Chemiluminescence

Biological or Clinical Significance:

Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FLT4 gene. It belongs to the class III subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). This receptor contains seven immunoglobulin-like repeats in their extracellular domain and kinase insert domains in their intracellular region. It regulates VEGF family-mediated vasculogenesis, angiogenesis, and lymphangiogenesis.  VEGF-R3 plays a significant role in VEGF-C and VEGF-D-mediated lymphangiogenesis.

Principle of Test Method:

The VEGF-R1 assay is a chemiluminescent immunoassay.  Detection range 5.4 - 5500  MRD 1:2
